The NBER's Board of Directors elected two new members at its annual meeting in September: Angelo Melino, representing the Canadian Economic Association, and Alicia H. Munnell, Director-at-Large. Melino is a professor of economics at the University of Toronto; Munnell is the Peter F. Drucker Professor in Management Sciences at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College.
